From traditional Porteño-Style Milongas to modern multi-story nightclubs (boliches), sports bars to Irish bars and everything in between can be found in this city. And if you are a Night Owl, you're in good company, because the locals tend to stay out till 6 or 7 AM on the weekends!
A Bailar! Tango and Salsa Lessons: The school organizes occasional group classes in Tango and Salsa, and trying these dances is just too much fun! And hey, you are in the birthplace of Tango! If you enjoy dancing, and are interested in really taking advantage of your stay to learn some moves you can show off at home, we have a program which combines your Spanish lessons with regularly scheduled dance lessons a discounted rate. If that doesn't suit you, but you'd still like to make sure you fit a few lessons in, let us know what you're looking for, and we'll get it set up for you.

Day-long and Weekend Excursions
: While you could certainly fill your calendar without leaving the city limits, there are some things that are definitely worth leaving Buenos Aires for. We've picked the most popular and most well-worth-it spots to visit, and offer them to you at student prices!
Weekend journey to breathtaking Iguazu Spend the weekend in the north of Argentina and discover Iguazu Falls- one of the most awe-inspiring sights in the world. Taller than Niagra Falls and twice as wide, this series of 200+ waterfalls surrounded by jungle can't be done justice by words or photos. It's no wonder it was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and is figures on many travel editor's top 10 natural wonders of the world... This trip includes airfare from Buenos Aires, 2 nights accommodation, breakfasts, dinners, and transfers to the National Parks. You'll take two half-day tours in a group (by foot, train, or 4x4), and have the rest of the time to explore on your own, or take the thrilling boat ride which stops right under one of the falls!
Day in the life of a Gaucho Leave the city and head to the grassy Pampas, where you'll discover how the genuine Argentine Gauchos (cowboys) live. They'll show you around the estancia, and you'll have the chance to ride a horse, participate in their traditional dances, and enjoy a delicious asado (Argentina BBQ). After dinner they'll perform a time-honored folkloric Tango. ¡Qué divertido!
Country-hopping trip to Uruguay: Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, is a quaint little city that's a delight to explore. Settled by the Portuguese in 1860, it's windy, cobblestone streets and brightly colored houses stand proud and undaunted by the modern buildings of neighboring cities. Leaving Buenos Aires in the morning, you'll enjoy the scenic, comfy, hour-long ferry ride to Colonia. Spend the day exploring the many mom & pop shops, peek at the antique cars in front of the houses, take a riverside stroll along La Rambla, tour a museum, relax in the yacht harbor, and feast at an excellent restaurant. In the evening, gather your remaining Uruguyan pesos for souvenirs, and ride the Rio de la Plata back “home”
Day in Tigre, ride on the Delta- If you're in Buenos Aires for any length of time, you'll undoubtedly hear talk of this tiny river-town about 45 minutes outside of the capital. It is a popular get-away for Porteños looking to escape the city life. Enjoy a boat ride on the Delta Waterways, where you’ll likely pass some water taxis taking people to their riverside homes. Enjoy lunch, stop at the famous fruit market for desert, then ride the rides at the Parque de la Costa amusement park (like the “botes chocadores”!) before you hit the train back home.
